Panoramic golf-course views from their breakfast table was the top priority for these empty nesters. The other? An elegant-yet-unfussy home to enjoy with their grandchildren. So, we took this home down to the studs, moved the kitchen to its rightful place overlooking the greens, and sourced the most durable, livable furnishings available.

We toured multiple homes to help these clients find the right one. And though this property had the bones and view they wanted, the spaces still weren’t quite right.
What was once the den became the home’s central hub — a chef-worthy kitchen with resort-worthy views. Like the rest of the home, this space expertly balanced luxury elements with kid-friendly finishes.
JANUS et Cie chairs and barstools are comfy enough to linger in, yet easily wipe down after the inevitable wet swimsuit or melted popsicle.
In the living room, a white David Sutherland area rug is virtually indestructible — even permanent markers are no match.
Throughout the home, we installed Belgian white oak flooring in a hard wax finish. Not only does this eco-friendly choice mean no polyurethane or VOCs, but any scratches are easily buffed out.
This home also showcases the clients’ impressive art collection; a Picasso lithograph in the powder room, a Lichtenstein in the office, to the custom piece we had made for the family room wall.
A soft palette of blues and greens create the Hamptons-inspired feeling these homeowners craved, while carefully curated finishes ensure cozy, unfussy spaces to truly enjoy in their golden years.
