Palm Beach
How do you keep the best of tradition, but make it fresh for a fun, young family? That was the challenge with this West Palm Beach home.
This couple adores the sophistication and opulence of Old World Europe, and wanted their home to embody the same feeling. But, none of us wanted spaces that read dated or fussy. To achieve the right balance, we relied on a light and airy palette to keep things feeling fresh and elegant.

An arched entryway with scrolling ironwork sets the tone for this home. Just inside, a two story cast stone fireplace anchors the formal living room, while an oversized crystal chandelier, reflected in the mirror above the mantle, delivers a double dose of drama.
The kitchen is a home cook’s dream, featuring one island for prep and another for guests to mingle around as they sip a glass of chardonnay. The coffered ceiling, riveted range hood, and custom millwork, traditional details abound bring traditional touches, while a fresh palette and thoughtful lighting scheme keep the spaces airy and bright.
In the adjacent family room, a rich leather reclining sectional, plush rug, and a warm wood media built-in set the stage for game days and cozy movie nights. For the adults, a lounge area with bar tables is the perfect spot for a few drinks and rounds of pool.
Once friends have gone home, the primary suite is the ultimate oasis. Tufted upholstery, layered window treatments, and crystal light fixtures balance traditional luxury with warmth and coziness.
Outside, remodeled patio spaces make the most of outdoor living. Lightened walls highlight the wooden ceiling and the gorgeous views beyond. Hidden retractable screens allow the homeowners to enjoy a beautiful bug-free space, whether grilling or entertaining their guests.
Just beyond, the side yard has a putting green for brushing up on their golf game. Finally, an overhauled pool area features a rich aqua and navy palette, water feature, and a breezy cabana for lounging.
