The Oaks
Brimming with gorgeous millwork and architectural detail from the original designer, this home’s redesign was all about keeping the best features and thoughtfully updating the rest. From kid-friendly spaces to a soothing primary suite for mom, we tailored each space with care to create custom spaces for everyone.

The bones of this home were a designer’s dream: airy spaces and stunning millwork provided the perfect backdrop for us to get creative and customize each space for this sweet family.
In the entryway, a lotus mosaic mural draws the eye upward and sets the soothing tone for the entire home. Down the hall, the barrel vaulted ceiling and dramatic modern chandelier welcome guests as they make their way inside.
In the kitchen, double islands provide ample storage and seating while a bright palette ensures the outdoor views take center stage.
French doors by table lead to a sprawling courtyard with retractable screens for the ultimate outdoor living space. JANUS et Cie settees and David Sutherland furnishings ensure each surface is comfortable and durable enough for young kiddos.
Inside, their playroom features a Holly Hunt textured mural, dark wood beams, and motorized shades for movies. The oversized down-wrapped sectional means plenty of ultra-comfy seating for all, and the onyx coffee table brings a whimsical pop of color.
A primary suite for mom is soft, plush, and restorative. Muralist Kim Fay created a cherry blossom feature above the bed, with a gesso layer for a 3D appearance. Hanging bedside lights look like lanterns in the branches, creating an ethereal sense of calm. A Simon Proctor Dior photo adds a pop of contrast and balances the soft bedding.
Throughout this Florida home, we brought in plush textiles, soothing hues, and soft finishes to balance the strong geometry of the architecture and create a true oasis for this young family.
