West Delray

With homes in Westbury & East Hampton, this family was craving a reprieve from New York’s harsh winters, with plenty of space to entertain guests. They weren’t afraid of saturated hues, but wanted to keep things timeless and chic. So we kept surfaces soft instead of shiny and opted for a neutral palette that brings just enough drama, without deterring from the sunshiney views beyond.

  • Because the couple loves to cook and entertain, we designed the kitchen island with ample seating for guests to chat and sip a glass of wine. A bay window banquette creates additional cozy seating for morning coffee or catching up with friends.

In the adjacent dining room, a Phillip Jeffries wood veneer wallcovering delivers a moody backdrop with gold leaf accents to mirror the sweeping veins in the stone tabletop. A dramatic chandelier serves as both art and mood lighting, while Cattelan diamond tufted dining chairs encourage guests to linger.

After dinner, guests can relax in plush seating around the ebony paneled fireplace in the living room. And when it’s time for after dinner drinks? Custom cabinets reveal hidden storage for spirits and barware. Plus, the top-down style lets the doors do double duty, creating a bit of prep surface for mixing the perfect old fashioned.

Tucked away from the entertainment zones, we created a luxurious sanctuary for these homeowners in the primary suite. Bright and airy, it’s the perfect place to unwind and recharge at the end of the day.

Throughout the home, we prioritized natural finishes, eco-friendly products, and Italian craftsmanship wherever possible. From the counter stools and breakfast nook seating by Porada to the Anima Domus chairs in the primary suite, we carefully curated beautifully crafted items from Italy’s top makers.

Altogether, this West Delray home is sophisticated, elegant, warm, and welcoming — exactly like the homeowners themselves and the life they envisioned for their family and guests.
