Still, she loves the quiet elegance of Mendocino County, CA’s architecture and interiors. So we sourced furnishings, textiles, and fixtures that would age gracefully and withstand the realities to busy family life.
The kitchen is bright and airy, with plenty of bar seating for casual breakfasts or after-school snacks. The adjacent office area is truly the command center of the home, with ample storage to corral paperwork and tech.
In the adjacent family room, an oversized sectional and weathered coffee table provide the perfect spot to lounge and put your feet up.
When it’s time for movie night — a tradition in this home each Friday — the theater room has everything at hand. From a popcorn machine and built-in beverage fridges to bar seating with pop-up charging stations, no detail went overlooked. An oversized leather sectional has motorized recliners in the center seats, ensuring everyone gets their own spot to kick back, while motorized blackout shades create the ultimate theater experience.
