Coral Gables
These homeowners loved the tree-lined boulevards and historic charm of their Coral Gables property. When the dark, dated interiors didn’t fit their aesthetic or their family’s needs, they opted to start from scratch — tearing down the existing home and rebuilding one tailored to their lifestyle. And while the exterior matches the signature Mediterranean, classical Spain vibe of the rest of the neighborhood, the interiors are all their own.

Young and colorful, this couple craved a space that was energizing and bold — with the right balance of calm. So that became our mission. Inspired by the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, known for its street art and fresh, young vibe, we set out to create dynamic spaces where pop art meets Zen.
White walls serve as a gallery backdrop in nearly every room — the perfect atmosphere to showcase the couple’s art collection, including 7 custom pieces painted by Andrea herself. In the entryway, a 5 panel piece by Andrea adds depth, texture, and a pop of dynamic color — a hint of what’s to come throughout the rest of this colorful home.
A rich supporting palette of cobalt, fuschia, and persimmon creates an atmosphere that’s warm, inviting, and fun — just like the family themselves.
Each of the boys’ rooms has a graphic feature wall, and is designed to showcase their own collections of superheroes and beloved toys, while remaining neutral enough to grow with them.
In the primary suite, darker walls create a cozy cocoon. We pushed the bed wall forward a few feet, taking the bedroom from cavernous and cold to cozy. The space behind creates an office nook, perfect for working remote and keeping all the inevitable family paperwork and clutter out of sight.
The primary suite also boasts a beautiful balcony, designed for curling up with a good book and catching a Saturday afternoon siesta. On the main level, a cozy media room opens up to the covered patio space and the pool beyond, perfect for parties and family gatherings year round.
